SYNOPSIS

This project consists of using fragments of everyday life to make a series of shorts and animated loops in film and video while experiment the infrastructural and technical restrictions of a home studio.

RELEVANT FEATURES

The animated pieces will be compiled in different series according to their theme and they will be edited on DVD in a format resembling that of a music CD. The composition, distribution and presentation will imitate independent music bands strategies, in an attempt to make a comment on the anachronism that caused the fall of the recording industry and the limitations of the short film exhibition circuit.

PROJECT STATUS

Volume 1 of the series, titled El año en que cayeron los aviones, has been finished and is pending its public release in a presentation at an underground bar and on internet. The animations for Volume 2 are now in pre-production.
