INTRODUCTION

Our project consists in a science - fiction animation serie in which every chapter will present a different situation joined to other by the narrator and the narrative structure.

Into the conceptual level, the serie will allow us to treat the following questions, presents in the most reflexive science-fiction world:

• The entropy and, in consequence, the inevitable end of everything, the Death like final destiny for the human being and probably also for the Univers.
• The Technological Singularity, or the aptitude of the human being to develop technologies that increase his capacity of knowledge and comprehension of the reality.
• The Transhumanism, the use of the new technologies to correct what is considered to be "faults" of the human being (the disease, the aging, etc.) and to improve hisintellectual and physical capacities up to the appearance of a new "posthuman" being.

On the other hand, we try to introduce, with the animation techs, elements to create powerful and suggestive images:

• The general environment in which the protagonists move inside the different episodes: the planet Earth in the near future, the space, the spaceships.
• The technological elements and his diverse vicissitudes in rapid evolution.
• The different regions of the cosmos visited by a humanity in a constant trip.
• The evolution of the human being.

We think that with these elements we can create a series of episodes of animation with attractive images and a conceptual interesting approach for the viewers.

SYNOPSIS OF THE EPISODES

All the episodes are narrated by a narrator, Balthar, whose voice we listen but we didn’t see until the sixth episode.

Episode 1
In the whiteness of the creation, when the Universe was young and perfect, two spiritual beings contemplate hiswork, astonished. But a sudden explosion liberates pieces of a star in combustion, which shock with other one, provoking a series of catastrophes in chain: the entropy has born. The two beings remains perplex. Is the first sample of a process of destruction.

Episode 2
In the spatial laboratory Inkeri-2, a group of scientists prepares the last test that will allow to obtain infinite energy thanks to the nuclear fusion. Her chief, Dra. Gerold, controls all the details by a remote system, only her face appears in the monitors of the center.
The test is successfully, the dream of the doctor Gerold it’s a reality. Nevertheless, she’ll not be able to enjoy for a long time the glory: victim of a terminal cancer, dies few hours after the experiment. Her son Vasily, specialist in artificial intelligence, promise to himself to construct a computer capable to answering the last question: how to stop the death?

Episode 3
Hundreds of years later. With the spite of the new source of energy, it has been impossible to stop the process of deterioration of the planet Earth and the humanity it’s obliged to leave it, to search new places to live. The last two people in the earth are thinking about the, apparently, inevitable finitud of everything and they asking the possibility of avoiding it.

Episode 4
In his trip for the cosmos, the humanity has found intelligent life. Overcome the first doubts, in the Great Academy of the Interstellar Science two scientists of different civilizations asking the possibility of stopping the death.

Episode 5
We are in the year 500.000, or more. In his infinite trip, the humanity finds a strange form of energy. There are images of his own past, in the planet Earth, of the persons who lived it a thousands years ago. The whole history of the planet. Is immortality possible? But on having approached it, everything vanishes. An ephemeral immortality, a vain chimera.

Episode 6
A hiper evolved humanity has returned to his first point: the universe is infinite, but limited, after the time everything returns. Where the Solar System was, there’s an enormous emptiness with a black hole in his center. Balthar, the last one of his specie, is waiting and seeing all the hsitory of the humanity. His own extinction is near or probably the step to a top stadium of the being?

Episode 7
Almost at the end of the time, the human being has evolved up to turning into the unique being, a child who plays and, playing, creates. He contemplates the image of the camel, with the world in his back, with a gesture of his hand everything’s vanish. He contemplates the image of the lion, which destroys the world with his claws and vanishes with a laugh. Only he stays, creating again the Cosmos.

CURRENT STATE

The project is in pre-production, in re-writing script and in search of funding, the XAL (Catalonian Local TV) is interested in the acquisition of the serie but we have not reached the definitive agreement. We already have a pilot episode.

CROSSMEDIA PROPOSAL

The target is centred on major and adult young teenagers been interested in the most elaborated and less theatrical leisure. In the serie we’ll give priority to the history over the visual spectacular effects.
The chapters are thought to be exhibited in television by a weekly periodicity. Our intention is to catch and fidelize the public by a direct and massive impact with a promotion based on the advertising, in this case the XTVL and by newsletters and viral videos with the trailer and teaser of the series.

The project appears with two additional parallel platforms, we'll try to expand the serie to more than seven weeks that appear for the TV, these would be: an Internet portal with contents extras on how the process of animation was realized, An access to the virtual communities like twiter and facebook, a forum of questions and reflections about the history and a small game where the players will be able to be positioned in any temporary point of the history and to solve small challenges about the entropy.
