A cross-media or multiplatform project is a project where the story is told through different platforms and devices, with the aim of reaching a currently fragmented audience due to the new entertainment consumption and social interaction models.
The main part of our cross-media project is a horror feature film, complemented with a graphic novel, an online videogame, several viral webisodes and other interactive elements, in addition to an alternative reality game. The project is low budget and targets an audience between 16 and 40 years old, who are new technology consumers.
It has both a commercial and experimental focus. In this sense, initially the funding, distribution and exhibition will implement the ‘Crowdfunding’ model, a model based on collective investments via the Internet. The film screenings will include live performances and a live music score, among many other elements. In a nutshell, we are exploring with the future of entertainment, a completely new experience for the audience.
